Oct. 14, 2009----The deadline for graduate students to submit posters on research topics such as sustainable energy, policy, climate change, environmental contamination or ecology to be shown during Student Environmental Sustainability Day on Thursday, Oct. 22, has been extended to Tuesday, Oct. 20.

New projects are welcome, but posters from previously completed original research are also acceptable. The poster session will be held on The Green at the University of Delaware's Newark campus.

Oct. 13, 2009----The deadline to submit video presentations to be shown during Student Environmental Sustainability Day on Thursday, Oct. 22, has been extended to Tuesday, Oct. 20.

Submitted videos, which should have a focus on environmental sustainability in the community, will stream in Memorial Hall during the daylong activities, which will take place on The Green. Topics can include issues such as sustainable energy, policy or any other related aspect that students would like to address.

 “Sustainable Delaware 2009” is the subject of the AIA Delaware conference and workshop, scheduled Thursday and Friday, Oct. 15-16, in Clayton Hall at the University of Delaware in Newark. Included on Oct. 16 will be several free public programs with topics geared to homeowners, business, students and locale preservationists.
