Delaware Environmental Institute
News & Events
DENIN serves as an active, interdisciplinary hub for faculty, staff, and students engaged in environment-related work at the University of Delaware. Our affiliates are engaged across the University’s seven colleges and numerous departments — more than 14 percent of the faculty at UD are pursuing some kind environmental work!
Keeping everyone — from internal audiences at the University to academic audiences around the world to policy makers, educators, and the general public — informed about the environmental enterprise at UD is an important part of our mission. Thus we strive to aggregate environmental news and events taking place around campus in a single easy-to-access place.
At DENIN, we also host our own signature events designed to support effective communication of science and promote science and environmental literacy among the general public. See our events calendar for all the upcoming events hosted or co-sponsored by DENIN, as well as application deadlines for our fellowships and internships and other important dates.
